When two cultures meet

Some weddings go far beyond a simple celebration. S. and S.'s was one of them. He was Jewish, she was Catholic. Their wish was simple: to build a ceremony that fully honoured both their cultures, without asking one to take precedence over the other.

Every element was thoughtfully designed to create a harmonious balance between their traditions, their families and their story. This ceremony was filled with immense emotion.

The couple were also going through a period of rebuilding after several personal and family hardships. Through words, symbols, rituals and the involvement of loved ones, this ceremony became a moment of togetherness, love and legacy.

To this day, it remains one of the most moving ceremonies I have had the privilege to lead.
