A vibrant celebration inspired by their story

Sometimes inspiration is found where you least expect it. When I went to meet A. and E. at their home, I noticed several madras fabrics. As we talked, I discovered that the bride-to-be was from Martinique.

They hadn't yet found the thread that would tie their wedding together. Yet this identity, this culture and this joie de vivre were already part of their story. And so the idea of a celebration inspired by the colours and energy of the Caribbean was born.

The bride's bouquet blended vivid shades of red, orange, yellow and green. The décor was designed in that same warm, authentic spirit. The table runners were even custom-made by the designer of her dress.

A magician with parrots delighted guests during the cocktail hour. Later in the evening, a couple of professional dancers gave a salsa demonstration before inviting guests to learn a few steps. Minutes later, the dance floor was full.

This wedding remains the memory of a joyful, colourful day, deeply true to the people living it.
